Literary Allusions

As I’ve said before, Betsy and I are on a literary pilgrimage. We want to see our author-heroes in their natural settings.  For example, today we’re setting out for the Bronte Parsonage Museum, to stand where those brilliant siblings lived out their sheltered lives.

But there are many stars in our literary sky. Some just shine more brightly than others. I was tickled to death to find allusions to a few other delightful British sagas yesterday while traveling.

Which one do you identify with? Or are you one of those special people who love them both?
